Well, this is long overdue. In the spirit of spring cleaning, FRIENDS CUT. You may be cut if:

- you haven't updated in months/years and I assume your journal is dead
- we added each other in a friending meme but have yet to actually interact
- we have nothing in common anymore / our interests have drifted apart / etc.

No hard feelings to anyone cut. If you were cut and want to stick around (especially those of you that still lurk but don't update), comment to my friends only page and I'll add you back. Also, if you WEREN'T cut and you don't want to be friends anymore, feel free to remove me and I'll do the same.

I'm locking things down around here. I don't like feeling that I can't be myself in my own goddamn journal; that things I say are going to be twisted and people are going to perpetuate lies on the almighty internetz. Plus, my friends list is too large and there's a number of dead/unused journals. So: early-morning friends cut! You may be cut if:

Obviously if you're NOT cut and you don't want to be friends with me anymore, feel free to remove me. I'll remove you back with no questions asked. I think last night proved that it's time for another friends cut. You may be cut if you:

- don't like baseball. because seriously, I love hockey and all, but baseball is my life.

OMFG.

No words. Just, none. I am so so proud of this kid it is ridiculous. To go from battling cancer in 2006 to winning the clinching game of the World Series in 2007, to tonight, throwing the first no-hitter by a lefthanded pitcher at Fenway Park since Mel Parnell in 1956... I just can't even say anything. Except that: HI I BELIEVE I TOLD EVERYONE THAT LESTER > SANTANA. KTHX.

Also amazing: Jason Varitek is the first catcher EVER to catch four no-hitters (Nomo in 2001, Lowe in 2002, Buchholz last year, and tonight). Wow. That's crazy.

OH AND. I was talking to phantom_hpuff on the phone during the game and when we hung up? The time of the call was exactly 31:00. ♥ IT'S A SIGN. Ahah.

Tito is the cutest. Seriously. You could just tell that he was about to cry. Lester's said before that Tito has been like a second dad to him, but for him say "I feel like my son graduated and pitched a no-hitter." Just... so much love. ♥ ♥

Okay, I seriously... can't type anymore. I'm shaking. Plus Lester's going to be on BBTN soon.

NO HITTER, CLAY BUCHHOLZ!

I'm in shock. I just... what? I didn't even SEE the goddamn thing, I was at work all night! Wow. Just, amazement. Flat out amazement. Only the second pitcher ever to throw a no-hitter in his SECOND Major League start. & he wasn't even supposed to pitch tonight, it was supposed to be Tavarez, but he had to go last night because Wakefield hurt his back, so they called up Clay. Wow. I'm just... I don't even know. So SO full of hearts. HE IS ONLY 23. We drafted him with the pick we obtained when Pedro Martinez signed with the Mets, so thanks a bunch, Pedro! :oD.

HOLY FUCK HE THREW A NO-HITTER!

Also, I would like it noted that I was the FIRST person to put "Clay Buchholz" in my interests... back in MAY. He's mine, go away. :D

so the wireless internet at my house died, therefore i haven't been able to post these pictures that are about two weeks old.
most of these are from that day that richard williams cancelled FYS and told us to go take pictures around campus.
the first few (of the moon) are my attempts at getting a picture of mars. at midnight. but i don't think it worked too well.

i'd also like to note that the sunday night adventure involving alison dolan and amanda silverman needs to be repeated ASAP.

oh and that the redsox trade for josh beckett, provided it goes through, makes me so happy you don't understand.
and the patriots won two games in a row. for real. and i'm going on new year's day, with my dad and jolinda. <3.

senior trip was AMAZING. for real. i got to know a bunch of cool people a lot better. and i also got to hang out with my friends a whole lot. here it is in short bullet points::

+the ride down in mr. mez's car with mrs. bishop, catherine and shawn. awesome.
+crazy monopoly games.
+swimming.
+the "waterfall".
+paddleboats! ... except NOT. the "lake" was a dammed section of the river. LAME.
+card games.
+catch phrase with like 30 people... including mrs. bishop, mr. slighter and dr. watts
+talking around the fire. i got to know aubree a lot more.
+carnegie deli. LOTS of food. insane. amazing strawberry shortcake.
+my "bear sundae" from the food court thing. :o)
+karen, catherine and yolanda as roommates. <3 them.
+catherine: "if i didn't know yolanda doesn't drink i would seriously think she was drunk right now."
+elizabeth: "i'm bored, i need to go make out with someone."
+scrabble with mike, karen, jon sepp, tori, amanda and pat.
+mr. slighter's endless talks. AGAIN. at least they weren't about college. ha.
+so much mini golf. i dominated in the first game and sucked in the second one.

+PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. amazing amazing amazing. would have been better if there weren't screaming children behind us though.

so yes it was an amazing time. and i guess there is nothing left to say but this::
